Dave Alans is in one word, “Versatile”. A musician/singer song writer, focusing on guitar and vocals to perform a wide variety of genres and styles. Dave can and will play old country, new country, pop, rock, classic rock, blues, and motown, sometimes all within the same set to appeal to whatever the audience demands, but has the width of repertoire of any one genre to sculpt and format to almost any given event. Whether the occasion calls for blending in to create an atmosphere for an affair, or if the party needs an MC to get the event rolling, Dave brings over 25 years of experience to the table, to be what you need when you need it, in venues, bars, private happenings, as well as weddings.
Solo and Duo acoustic music is where Dave excels, but the list of credits is extensive. Some notable achievements are radio play on 105.7 the Point when Dave was signed to a record deal in the band Social Blunder and over the years, Dave has opened up for Big Head Todd, Hootie and the Blowfish, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Todd Snider and DaDa to name a few, and most recently, even gained a degree in Music Therapy from Maryville University.
Currently a singer/acoustic guitar player in “Big Love” (A Tribute to Fleetwood Mac), he also lends his voice to one of St. Louis’ premier wedding bands, “Downtime”. Dave Rocks the Country and Classic Rock tunes with the band “New Idle”, and also steers his acoustic flagship duo, “Fedorable”, and is more than capable of entertaining Solo Acoustic for any type of gathering from a winery patio to a crowded downtown bar on a Saturday night.
